Here goes my first Blog..... !!!

So where our story began.....

One day I [Wayne] decided to have a change in my job I was working as an NVQ Carpenter assessor, and decided I want to get back on the tools, So had a idea to leave my job [Which was a risk to my Family Wife Sabrina, and 2 daughter's]  and start up my own business working from an old chicken Barn, We began by starting with a small range of Home accessories , and slowly begin to build on this with new ideas, Show casing our products at local craft fairs and Markets this is were our business started to bloom, getting new ideas and inspirations from Family, Friends and Customers too, Leading us to venture out into the big world wide web.

We were very lucky to know a very clever man that built us a custom made CNC machine that is the back bone of our business which gives us the versatility to Personalise most of our products. Due to all of our products being Handmade by us we can customise and adapt to any specification.

I [Sabrina] have a full time job, But love my time at Barn Living on a Friday going in with different ideas and making our ideas into reality, I am learning lots of things along the way with this business venture, I love all the friends we have made along the way from attending different markets, Enjoying meeting and talking to our customers and talking through there ideas and seeing them be made into a product.

Our youngest daughter loves coming into work with us on the weekends and holidays to create her own ideas , owning her very own tool box, being part of the family business from a young age.  We do have an older daughter as well but as she's a teenager we don't really see her and don't get much conversation, let alone wanting to help at the workshop.
